1950s Korean War Spec USN Peacoat
1950's Peacoat is very similar to the 40's version with two very stark changes. Firstly the loss of 2 buttons making the front enclosure 8 instead of 10. This also gave the jacket a 'lapel style' as it fell in a more natural way. Worn as part of the wool dress blues uniform, the peacoat is often seen more onshore than at sea during the 1950's
