Vintage garments may have varying label sizes compared to today's standards, or they may not be labelled at all. Wear and washing can also affect the size label. Therefore, we measure all our clothes in inches with the garment laid flat to give our customers the most accurate indication of size.
PLEASE NOTE:
On each product page, we provide both the original vintage size reported on the label and the real measurements (in inches) for each garment.
In the product title, we provide the measurement as listed on the label of the garment (e.g. Small, Medium, Large, etc). In the product description, we include the real measurements (in inches) for each individual item (e.g. Chest 44", Lenght 28", etc).
To determine the right clothing size for you, please refer to the detailed measurements outlined in each product description.
For maximum accuracy, we recommend measuring (in inches) a similar garment you own that fits well, using the same method we use to measure our garments. Then, compare the dimensions to ensure the best fit.
Below, we've provided a traditional international size guide for reference, but please remember it's only a rough estimate.
