This cotton t-shirt comes in black with an orange, Ancient Greek graphic of a musician playing a wind instrument called a Dialous and a woman dancing next to him surrounded by a roundel. This graphic comes from the 'red figure' used on Ancient Greek pottery around the early 6th Century BC. The name derives from painting the red clay pottery with a black background and leaving the contrasting subject matter to be revealed, hence the name 'red figure'. This garment also features the text 'British Museum' on the left sleeve in orange. Please note this item says size XL on the size tag, however comparing it against the international sizing block, the garment measures closer to an XXL. Due to the age of the garment, there is a small amount of fading.
