1977 Dated Post-Vietnam US Army RDF ERDL Camouflage Combat Trousers - 35W
US Army issue RDF ERDL camouflage combat trousers
Produced 1977-1981, the 'RDF' uniform was a modern update to the tropical combat uniform as seen throughout the Vietnam War. RDF uniforms are made in the commonly known BDU cut and the camouflage pattern was altered slightly. The trouser cut differs from the wartime pattern with the addition of a 'gas flap' to the fly, but are otherwise identical. Three types of camouflage pattern can be seen on RDF uniforms: RDF ERDL, wartime brown dominant, and wartime lime-green dominant M-1949 ERDL. Wartime ERDL camouflage patterns were incorporated into the RDF uniforms due to a surplus of material and are not uncommonly seen on RDF uniforms.
These trousers are made with the Wartime brown-dominant 'Delta' ERDL camouflage pattern.
