1961 US Army post-Korean war M-51 jacket.
Late production model
The M-51 field jacket was worn throughout the Korean war right up until the early stages of Vietnam. Modified from the WW2 M1943 and M1950 the jacket was an instant hit with toops due to its sharp and smart collared look. The M51’s most famous wearer is Elvis who had a government issue one when he served in the US Army. So you’ll be in good company.
