Vintage 30's Black Lace Trimmed Peplum Dress

Instantly evoke the feminine style and glamour of the thirties, with this gorgeous original vintage dress. This comes in a beautiful black crepe fabric, with a simple cut, sweetheart neckline with lace trim and gathered detail on the bust, three quarter length sleeves, and long skirt, as well as light padding in the shoulders for a classically thirties silhouette. At the waist there is a lace-trimmed peplum, which is gathered and pleated to form a belt at the back, with bow corsage. Fastens with a metal 'Talon' brand zip, set into the back. Overall, a gorgeous dress perfect for special occasions or just plain and simple dress up! Please note: as this item has made its way through seven decades, there is a little slight sheen to the crepe fabric, in keeping with its age. Overall it remains in beautiful condition.
