Original Levi's mid blue denim jacket dating from the 1969s, with the sought after big 'E' tab.
Levi's used capital letters only on the pocket tabs of their garments from the tab's inception in 1936 until around 1971 when the transition to the modern-day lower case 'e' was complete; dating this piece to pre-1971.
The lovely naturally faded and distressed Levi's denim jacket features two flap covered chest pockets, red 'big E' pocket tab, contrasting tan stitching, buttoned tabs on either side of the waistband and brass embossed buttons throughout. On the back is a patch of a male figure, possibly a farmer we're not sure but he looks happy.
As well as fading, there is a white mark on the left sleeve which all contributed to the vintage character of the piece.
Looks to be made from cotton.
