70s Indigo Blue Denim 'Big E' Levi's Jacket

Original Levi's indigo wash denim jacket dating from 1970s, with the sought after big 'E' tab. Levi's used capital letters only on the pocket tabs of their garments from the tab's inception in 1936 until around 1971 when the transition to the modern-day lower case 'e' was complete; dating this piece to pre-1971. The lovely naturally faded denim jacket features two flap covered chest pockets, red 'big E' pocket tab, contrasting yellow stitching, buttoned tabs on either side of the waistband and brass embossed buttons throughout. There is some fading and light fraying to the collar, cuffs, hem and placket. This all contributed to the vintage character of the piece. 100% cotton.
