RDG for Women - Little Wings

Little Wings headwear is created by Brighton-based designer Pippa Forster, who uses a variety of beautiful feathers, glass beads and vintage jacquard ribbon in her designs.

Her work is inspired by the materials she works with and by traditional body adornment from around the world. Feathers are a beautiful material to work with and have been used for decoration for thousands of years.

She mainly sources her feathers from game birds, a byproduct of the food industry, believing that by using feathers that would otherwise be discarded she is celebrating the life of the bird and harnessing some of its beauty.
