Unique & Proud - The Photos

We were thrilled to host a Unique & Proud event in our Covent Garden store on 25 June, to celebrate Pride in London and raise money for the Albert Kennedy Trust.

The Albert Kennedy Trust is the LGBT youth homelessness charity providing safe homes, mentoring, training and support to young people under 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness just for being brave enough to come out to their parents, care givers and peers.

We kicked the night off with the gorgeous Sadie Sinner singing us in, before she introduced the most glamorous bunch of performers we've ever seen. Burlesque, drag acts, hula hooping, a fabulus of unicorns and the Witches of Odd kept the glitter levels at maximum and put on one hell of a show. We wrapped up with a raffle with some incredible prizes.

A massive thank you to The Albert Kennedy Trust team, Sadie Sinner for making us giggle through the night and keeping the show on track, the gorgeous body-positive Barelesque queens Ana Morphic, Tallulah Van Leer and Honey Snapps, Lisa Ellipse, .2Dot's Charm Enders and Jana Envy, Manny Queen (we would bake with you any time!), all the generous donations for the raffle from Sink the Pink, Black Cat Cabaret, Vidal Sassoon, Dusty the musical, Balans Soho Society, UGOT, East London Distillery, Spun Candy and Prowler. The fabulus of unicorns (please come EVERYWHERE with us!), The Witches of Odd for looking incredible, crafting and raising money, Dust PR, Milou for her amazing organisation, Ben and Jess for their photography, Sam for everything creative, Eibhleann and Freddy for their awesome ideas, the whole Covent Garden store team for hosting beautifully, Ben and George for sound, the production team for keeping us in product, Loranique and the Rokit Recycled team for the curtains, headpieces, bags, trays and general hand-made amazingness, Amy for instagramming, Leonora for being our raffle master, all our blogger and press friends who joined us and spread the word and to you for joining us and donating.

It's not too late, you can spend in any of our stores or online until the end of Saturday 27 June and we will donate 5% of all sales from 21 June - 27 June 2015 to The Albert Kennedy Trust, along with all the money raised on the night. More on this later.
