Illamasqua & Rokit

Last week, some of team Rokit were lucky enough to be invited down to cult beauty brand Illamasqua's west end flagship store to indulge in a two hour makeup course at their School of Make-Up Art.

Arriving at the school - beautifully decked out with mirrored work stands and dramatic black and cream striped latex curtains - we were greeted by professional make-up artist and key educator Claire Lille who talked through what we wanted to achieve from the session: strong brows and dramatic lips on the one hand (or face!) and sixties eyeliner and the art of contouring on the other.

Here's a few snaps of the evening, big thanks to Illamasqua and Claire Lille for making us pretty!

So many goodies! Where to begin?!

Much mirth when we realised we could make several 'troweling it on' jokes.

Putting the trowel to good use...

Eye eye captain! Loving the silky matte finish of Illamasqua's eyeshadows.

Tools of the trade.

All in all this was a fantastic taster course and left us uber excited since we are teaming up with Illamasqua to create a totally unique vintage styling experience. Visit the Illamasqua School of Makeup Art site to book the 'Art of Self Indulgence' party and quote Rokit when booking for a unique night time 'lock-in' at Illamasqua with a Vintage Glamour twist.
