The Classic Car Boot Sale Rolls Into King's Cross

Posted on

Last weekend, we spent Sunday rummaging in the boots of classic vintage motors behind King's Cross station for the last Classic Car Boot Sale of the year. The sun was shining, unless you ventured out on Saturday, in which case it was absolutely tipping buckets, and after 5 long weeks payday had arrived and our hard earned cash was burning a hole in our pockets.

If you're more inclined towards engines with two wheels attached to them, scooter's were everywhere with the tangy smell of two-stroke clinging to the air. A sea of parka's arrived just in time for DJ Big Bob Morris to thrown some Northern Soul and Ska 45s onto the decks from the roof of the Routemaster Bus Bar, which provided a welcome rest stop from all that spending.

Rows upon rows of clothing and home wares stacked up against pukka street food vendors to make this Classic Car Boot the best yet. Oh, and we even managed to spot Wayne giving out the Best in Show rosette. What were the chances?

Keep your eyes peeled for the next Classic Car Boot Sale.
