Cahoots! We review the 1940s underground (literally) bar

Posted on

Despite our belief that the centre of London has been sold to the highest bidder for the humble price of its own heart and soul, Cahoots - only steps away from the iconic Carnaby Street - is somewhat a hidden gem with a great mix of good old fashioned puns, and an extremely well thought out vintage and authentic interior design.

London's Underground Bar Cahoots Review

Whether or not you are into 'immersive experiences' (and we are!) or not, the atmosphere is priceless, bringing back to life an otherwise obliterated piece of history. For Cahoots resides underground, in an air-raid shelter that, once upon a time, ran all the way to Piccadilly Circus. Designed to look like a vintage underground station, expect beautiful themed cocktails, creative both in ingredients and presentation (we had one that we drank from a green statue! And we heard about one served in a massive clock!).

So, our most honest advice is: sort your victory rolls out, and go to Cahoots IMMEDIATELY!

Vintage Clothing For Ladies And Gentleman

But before you leave the house, I would recommend rooting through your vintage clothing collection and adding a spiffing party dress and ruby lips, for you never know - you might find yourself dancing swing to the early hours, and what a pity would it be if you did so without looking like the 40s diva you know you can be!

And you, gentlemen, don't think that you can simply ignore the temptation to take out your charms in some authentic vintage clothing (All The Nice Girls Love a Sailor style!), for we have an outstanding selection of gabardine shirts to begin with, so whichever retro item of clothing suits you the best, Cahoots will be a night able to titillate the fancy of even the most conventional buddy, this, we can say for sure.
