So, London Fashion Week has been and gone, passing by in a style encompassing blur. As always the week designers prep for for most of the year, was over before we knew it, next stop Milan. But we managed to hit the streets and check out what you AW16 attendees were sporting. Dubbed a Fashion capital (no pressure), London certainly lived up to its creative roots on the street style front.

Refreshed Denim

Ah, denim, the ever-lasting classic that us Brits just love. We saw it washed out, re-styled, frayed, jacket styles, shirt styles and some super retro double-denim hits. Giving this trend a refresher it's time to go DIY on your vintage denim with iron on appliques and hand-sewn embroidery or opt for a damaged style just like personal style blogger Ellen Atlanta who was bang on trend wearing her Rokit denim ripped (See cheeky photo below).

Rainbow brights

Also making a regular appearance, Spring 2016's most playful trend, 'rainbow brights' clashes of colour, clashes of textures and clashes of patterns, so much clashing. This trend is going to be BIG and soo fun mixing and matching outfit combinations reaching new multi-colour heights!!! We caught up with Sarah-Maria Booth, Junior Fashion Editor of Notion Magazine as she showcased her rainbow inspired LFW outfit (See below far right).

Vintage Style Faux Fur

The practical amongst you, dug out your faux fur vintage wonders to beat the chills in between shows. The impeccably chic beauty editor of Vogue Brazil, Vic Ceridono. teamed her fur with a bold green statement skirt (See below far right). Who says keeping warm has to be dull? Whilst others kept under wraps whilst channelling military vibes, tick tick tick. Fashion Blogger Amelia Breading kept things bright layering red leather with her Rokit faux fur jacket! (See below middle)

Retro-Sportswear influences

London Fashion Week AW16 also saw the Sportswear trend continue, for those of you who like your style comfy, retro influences are making their way into our Spring wardrobes. While we're still feeling the chills, see the trend channelled through retro-style silk bombers in bold colours and brave prints.

70's Suede Inspiration

It looks like we're suckers for suede. Paired with washed denim flares and leather boots, this 70's trend is going nowhere. We snapped a LFW-goer in her legit Rokit patchwork coat looking the vintage dream. The lovely Megan Ellaby of Pages by Megan took over our Instagram channel for Day 3 Of LFW rocking her vintage Moschino tassel suede jacket and paired it with Spring's other top trends, leather and rainbow details (See below left). Nailed it.
