A Whole New Meaning To Batwing Sleeves...
Future Cinema, the creators of Secret Cinema, in partnership with California Tourism, presents CALIFORNIA CLASSICS, bringing 80s wonders The Lost Boys and Top Gun to life as Canary Wharf is transformed into the sun-soaked
boardwalks and amusement parks of California this weekend.
8000 honorary Californians will be recruited into the gangs of vampire-spooked Santa Cruz (The Lost Boys, 3rd September) or enlisted into training at naval aviation school in San Diego (Top Gun, 4th September).
Audiences will treat their taste buds to authentic all-American foods, participate in water sports and taxidermy art workshops and dress the part in 80s style. And of course Rokit will be celebrating all things gothic grunge and preppy naval with its pop-up store on the boardwalk offering authentic vintage attire with bite.
