When we heard that our marketing assistant Ellie's mum had attended the legendary Isle of Wight festival in 1970, we were on her like a shot! Following in the footsteps of Woodstock, Isle of Wight was the largest musical event of its time (with the Guinness Book of Records estimating that 700,000 people attended) and featured a mind-blowing line-up of acts including the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell and Donovan.
