LFW Round Up: Street Style & BTS Military
Androgynous durability is the order of the day. Take '90s street wear, add a dash of utilitarian flare and what do you have? A hardy recipe for success. Think military staples like camo jackets, combat trousers and parka coats re-imagined in unusual colour ways and unconventional fabrics. The likes of Levi Strauss and Carhartt first patented tough workwear essentials for manual labourers in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The trend then blurred the lines between fashion and functionality during the '90s, and now it's experiencing a resurgence. You wear that bucket hat with those canvas overalls. Christ, why not layer a ruffled blouse underneath? Sound mad? You heard it here first.
